I am still overwhelmed by how amazing our Panasonic products have been and how they have changed our lives. Tonight I just figured out how to stream video from my computer to my tv through my Blu-Ray player. One of the first videos that popped up was video we shot at CES it looks phenomenal and It just reminds me how much fun this whole experience has been, the quality of the Panasonic products and how lucky we all are to be chosen to Live in HD. These products are amazing all around, HD or 3D is doesn't matter- they're Panasonic so we know they're outstanding.
Cindy, I don't think I can top your Saw video (your editing skills are far superior to mine!), but it doesn't mean we can't try!
Long live the LiHD families!

Hey gang, did anyone catch the news yesterday about Panasonic's new portable gaming system? It's designed to play online and MMO (massively multiplayer online) games, but to get those gamers out of the house and out into the open- providing the flexibility to take it with you. You can check it out here: http://welcometo.thejungle.com/ . What do you think people?

Hey gang, did anyone catch the announcement of Jungle yesterday? Here's a link to the official website: http://welcometo.thejungle.com/ This is a new gaming system (by our friends here at Panasonic) that would allow players to play MMO (massively multiplayer online) games on-the-go. No word on a release date, but the prototype is out there. What are your thoughts?

Just got our copies of all three Panasonic Blurb books today: Living Life on the Edge, Living Life in Color, Living Life to the Fullest. Thery are fantastic! Susan Seaman did a fantastic job putting these together. They're not as big as I though they would be, but the picture quality is beautiful and they are a lot of fun to look at. Great job to everyone who contributed! Susan, thank you for all of your hard work. They are books we are proud to own and proud to be a part of them!
You can check them out here:

With the recent changes to the LiHD site, it looks like we'll be seeing a lot more activity here. For those of you who have never been here before, let me say welcome! While it is great to get points and all, this site is really about community. Come on in. Look around. Chances are, you'll meet a lot of great people. We sure have.
I've said it time and time again, being a Living in HD family is great and one of the best parts about it is the fact that we have met so many kind and wonderful people as a result of being in this program. This is one of the kindest, most supportive and helpful communities you can find on the web or in real life! I hope that you find it as welcoming as we have and we look forward to having you as part of our community and family.

So I was checking email and reading some of my favorite blogs using my Toughbook CF-Y7. We've had it downstairs in our kitchen for some time now and it has been great- so convenient and useful!
Anyway, for some reason, I had picked up my bowlful of milk and breakfast cereal and it slipped from my hand, dumping squarely on the keyboard of the laptop. I remembered from the manual (I actually read it prior to this...) that in this situation, the best thing to do is to leave the laptop level. I powered it down, put a towel on the keyboard, lifted it straight up (as the manual says to do) because the Toughbook is designed to drain liquids away from important components. I dried the table beneath the toughbook and opened the DVD drive. It is so well sealed that not a drop of milk got into it! I popped the battery pack out, allowed a little time for it to dry, and started it back up.
I am actually using it right now to send this. It is working perfectly.
The greatest thing about all of this is that this is a Toughbook computer, so I never once was worried that it would be damaged by me spilling my breakfast all over it. I was interested to see how it would hold up, but I never doubted for a minute that it would.
Thanks Panasonic for building products that give us piece of mind. If you haven't gotten a Toughbook yet, you really should look into it!
