    Hey gang, did anyone catch the announcement of Jungle yesterday? Here's a link to the official website: http://welcometo.thejungle.com/ This is a new gaming system (by our friends here at Panasonic) that would allow players to play MMO (massively multiplayer online) games on-the-go. No word on a release date, but the prototype is out there. What are your thoughts?

    Looks like this was canned, unfortunately. "Panasonic decided to suspend further development due to changes in the market and in our own strategic direction," the company said in a statement.

    I remember when you posted this, I was excited too. The online gaming space - in those few months - is radically different. Even Atari has a brand new MMO that is 100% free. With DC now putting out a paid MMO in the hero genre the next 6 to 12 months will show who survives. Sony has "skin in the game" from software to hardware and XBox and Nintendo, esp the new 3DS out on the 27th is already jeopardising the Sony NGP so much that the PSP got a price cut instead of going extinct.
