Although I love my little Lumix that I can slip in my purse, I plan on using my Lumix G DSLR camera more often.  I can tell the difference in the quality of the shots.  For instance, I was able to get some really great shots at the International African Arts Festival this past weekend by using the Lumix G:

Recently, I designed and decorated a cake at an event sponsored by Duff Goldman the star of the Food Network series “Ace of Cakes”. The video below will give you a “glimpse” of the event, the products…and Duff. The majority of it is Duff speaking about his involvement with the line. Both the pictures and the video were captured by my handy Lumix.

I met Teri Hatcher at an event. She was really pretty, warm and personable. She saw me waiting to take a picture and said, “You look like you want a picture.” She then proceeded to take my Lumix camera and take a photo of the two of us together….how sweet!

I take my handy little Lumxi to do the majority of pictures and videos at various events that I attend.  Below are some photos that I took at one event:

Spring Break was so much fun. Below are my top 3 photo moments (captured with my little Lumix) from the break:

1. When compiling a list of things that we wanted to do as family, Michael said “eat sushi”. I’m glad that he did! I rediscovered how much I like it too! Here’s a photo of his first sushi tasting. (He liked the spicy tuna and spicy shrimp roll. He didn’t like the California roll though.)

2. Visiting Flushing Meadows Corona Park (in Queens) was also on our list since we had never been there before. We had a blast playing baseball and football. Sean’s favorite part was playing in the dirt (he wanted to be “Sandman”). My favorite part was flying a Skydog Best Flier Kite that Michael had received from a friend for his birthday. Once we figured out the directions (words without a picture?!), it was wonderful. I realized that I had not flown a kite since I was a kid! That was Michael’s favorite part too.

3. Easter Sunday was wonderful. After church, we went to a great-aunt’s house for dinner. It was fun to spend time with my husband’s extended family. (Not having to cook Easter dinner was an extra bonus.) I took this photo of the boys before church service. They couldn’t stop giggling…

Recently, I threw a Wii-themed birthday party for my oldest son Michael.  Being a Panasonic LiHD family definitely came in handy.  From the television, to the Wii, to the camera to capture memories...we love being a LiHD family!
