Spring Break was so much fun. Below are my top 3 photo moments (captured with my little Lumix) from the break:
1. When compiling a list of things that we wanted to do as family, Michael said “eat sushi”. I’m glad that he did! I rediscovered how much I like it too! Here’s a photo of his first sushi tasting. (He liked the spicy tuna and spicy shrimp roll. He didn’t like the California roll though.)
2. Visiting Flushing Meadows Corona Park (in Queens) was also on our list since we had never been there before. We had a blast playing baseball and football. Sean’s favorite part was playing in the dirt (he wanted to be “Sandman”). My favorite part was flying a Skydog Best Flier Kite
that Michael had received from a friend for his birthday. Once we figured out the directions (words without a picture?!), it was wonderful. I realized that I had not flown a kite since I was a kid! That was Michael’s favorite part too.
3. Easter Sunday was wonderful. After church, we went to a great-aunt’s house for dinner. It was fun to spend time with my husband’s extended family. (Not having to cook Easter dinner was an extra bonus.) I took this photo of the boys before church service. They couldn’t stop giggling…
