    February Video Wrap-Up/

Saturday, March 6, 2010, 11:37 AM EST [General]

Also in February... -My family went to see a preview of Xbox 360's Project Natal. We took a short video clip of Michael playing it with our little Lumix...

And -I went to the New York Times Travel Show - mainly to visit Sea World. I took pictures of the animals and a short video of a kookaburra's sound with my Lumix.

February Wrap-Up/The Little Lumix That Could

Saturday, March 6, 2010, 11:13 AM EST [General]

Life has been busy since I last blogged.  Quick update:

-I went to a married retreat where I took my handy little Lumix along and became the "unofficial" couple photographer.  Someone actually captured my husband and I with our camera also:

-My family and I took a mini-vacation to Bear Mountain in New York.  It was so much fun....the nature scenes (that I captured on my handly little Lumix) were beautiful...

    - Sean celebrated his birthday... most of the pictures were captured on the little Lumix.

(The Lumix that I'm referring to is the Panasonic DMC-FX37.  It is my "go to" camera!  My next post will include video taken with the same camera...)

It Has Been A Long Time/Super Bowl Party

Monday, February 8, 2010, 04:05 PM EST [General]

I realized that it has been a long time since I have posted over here.  Although I have a feed to my blog (Mom in the City) on my page (where you see my LiHD items at work), this year I want to blog over here two to four times a month, so that I can share specifically about the way the Panasonic products enhance my life.

Last week, I attended a special dedication event at Ronald McDonald House in NYC.  I'll be posting about that on my blog later this week, but I just want to say how much I love my digital LUMIX.  I pop it in my bag and use it for both pictures (the kids were so cute!) and video (a choir did an amazing, upbeat song).  Pictures and video definitely enhance my work stories!

Sunday night, we hosted a Super Bowl party.  I think that the 52 inch Panasonic television was the prime incentive for some of my husband's guy friends to come!  Although I (Kim) did not get to see that much of the game (playing hostess and all), the image and sound was amazing.  Football really isn't my "thing", but it was so fun to see a crowd of friends enjoying the game in our home.  A kiss and a "thank you" from my husband (whose "Saints" won - Who Dat?) after everyone left was great for me.  Thanks Panasonic!

    Class Photographer

Tuesday, November 3, 2009, 11:58 AM EST [General]

One of the great things about having the Panasonic equipment is that I get to play photographer at a variety of events.  Recently, I was a class parent for my son's Kindergarten class to a local farm.  It was so much fun!  By the end of the day, I (and the kids) had taken a combination of almost 200 photos.

I uploaded the pictures to a private gallery so that the parents who were not able to attend could see the day's fun.  Here are a few of the shots (that don't include anyone else's kids):
