Expert Bio Blurb Regarding my video "Wailing Wall" I have really cut down on my video production output.I want to focus on making a much better quality video like one a week instead of 4 or 5 a week."Wailing Wall" is only 3 minutes long but I have to tell you it took me 18 hours or more to make.Usually a video like that might take me 2 hours but I tried to use more integrity on just how I wanted it to go out. Thanks for your kind words and noticing I spent alot of time making it.Your comments from all of my friends that I have met over the years here that I have come to know as best as you can know someone in this teletype world are what motivates me to do it again.Thank you very much......Geoff. I have been doing midi and Synthesizer digital voice and effects programing for more than 20 years.I also played around with continues controllers, exciters(pitch detuners) sonic maximisers,Harmonisizers or what ever you want to call them.In my opinion BBE is the best out there.I could not believe this technology took so long to make it to the HD or high end home entertainment market.I would never use any EQ.anytime you add EQ or effects processing to the original signal you add distortion.Pitch detuning is the only way to go.In our current sound studio we use Meyer Sound HG1 Nearfield Monitors for final masters. In my opinion the best speaker for that type of job on the planet.Although Genelec out of Finland has some very nice nearfield monitors as well.To have both brands would be ugly indeed but just the HG1's run almost $11000 dollars a pair and the Genelec's are even more so building a good studio can be a curse of a lifetime.I have been playing around with video only a very short time so I have so much to learn but this is a curse I really enjoy.I started out in the early 1980's with a moog prodigy synth. and fascination with basic waveforms mixed with slightly inverted ones made the sound so fat I felt like I could see the sound as well as hear it.That ws avery long time ago and everything has come along way but my dream of trying to create not a music video so much but a video that lets you see the fat sound you hear in a HD or THX Digital surround sound or even Imax type effect by tricking the listener/viewer sense's much like the first BBE sonic Maximizers did.I think it can be done, as a matter of fact I know it can be done.I don't think composite sound modeling is the way.I messed with that stuff and I have to say its pretty weak.
