Majestic Mayon Volcano (p)
Description:
My first upload for LiHD community gallery. This shows Mayon Volcano overseeing her realm. It's as if the healthy palay crops, the trees, the clouds, the sky, and Mayon Volcano itself, conspired to make this royal pose for the whole world's viewing pleasure. 'Mayon' comes from the word 'magayon' which means 'beautiful'. Looking at its spectacular symmetrical stance, Mayon Volcano is, indeed, worthy of such description. Shot using Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5, March 5, 2009 4:39 PM, at barangay Busay, municipality of Daraga, province of Albay, Republic of the Philippines.
