How did you find out about LivingInHD.com?
I first found out about LivingInHD.com when I was hired to be the community manager! I was definitely thrilled
to be a part of such a reputable quality brand's initiative to teach consumers the ins and outs of HD products.
I knew I wasn't the most knowledgeable and had a lot to learn myself!
What motivates you to take photos?
Catching a beautiful moment through photos. Sometimes I look at a photograph and I just sit there in awe.
It's crazy that just one image can tell a whole story, and I'm inspired by that. I like that I can capture history
in photography. Documenting my daughter as she grows up is extremely important to me as she is
growing too fast for words!

What is your favorite photo of your currently uploaded photos here on the site?
That's a tough one! But I'd have to say the one
entitled "Sanctuary." Just looking at it makes me
feel at ease (hence the name).
What are some photography/videography tips you’d like to give to the community?
Test, test, test. I feel like I learn something new with each picture I take. Test lighting, test subjects, test
editing effects - try it all until you find the different ways that work for you. You'll find new tricks that make
your pictures look the way you want them to.
What have you gained from the site?
I've always had an interest in photography, but never had the camera to do it. In becoming an LiHD Family,
I received a Panasonic G1 camera and since then, the photographer has come out in me. I've taken an
interest in photography and try to take photos as much as I can. I'd like to take more formal classes to get
the most out of the camera (when I have time of course) but in the meantime, I love that this camera can
make me feel like a semi-pro and that I've been able to take photos that I feel proud enough to frame and
keep. Someone even asked me to photograph their wedding recently! Although I don't think I'm anywhere
near the level to be doing that, I'm happy to say that Panasonic has truly made a difference in my life and
the way I capture the important moments.
