How did you find out about LivingInHD.com?
I first heard about the LiHD website from Debbie Pelletier, LiHD family #21, she is a fellow mother of a
sailor at my son’s sailing camp. Debbie was so excited to use her camera to capture the great colors of
the many sailboats out on the lake. With the common interest in photography we had a great conversation
going in no time. That night I went home and read about the many great features your site has to offer,
especially the webinars presenting solutions to our technical issues in our daily lives.
What motivates you to take pictures?
The great thing about photo/videography is to capture the moments to preserve the memories,
to be able to look at these pictures at any given time, and being able to share them with family
and friends. Also, I find it interesting to look for unusual angles and to implement different
settings on my Lumix DMC-TZ3 camera.

What is your favorite photo of your currently uploaded photos here on the site?
I would have to say the sunset picture taken from
Marathon Key in the Florida Keys just a couple of months ago. The calm sea and the fierce colors of the setting
sun, give a nice contrast. It also has sentimental value to me of a perfect finish to a marvelous seafood dinner
with family and friends on the gulf shore.
What are some photography/videography tips you’d like to give to the community?
Many ordinary pictures could be extraordinary photos by just paying attention to what is in the background
of the subject. By simply stepping a few feet away from trash cans, poles, construction zones, etc., one can
give a picture a better overall feel. And work with natural light whenever possible. Enjoy the luxury of
digital photography and technology available to us. The freedom of downloading unlimited number of
frames, playing with Photoshop day or night, and being able to choose our prints, allows us to shoot lots
and lots of pictures. HAVE FUN!
What have you gained from this site?
Wow! I have gained knowledge from the webinars, such as what great photographers are really looking
for in a great shot. In the photography seminars I learned to use the features of Photoshop software
more detailed, by adding depth, shadows and so on. The Answerman Greg Harper, whose explanations
on technical issues have helped us with some of our intricate questions, is greatly appreciated.
The tips on using Panasonic equipment to their fullest are phenomenal. I look forward to going on
LivingInHD.com every time.
