What was your experience at CES like?
CES was overwhelming. We really appreciated the opportunity to be able to visit this great conference. A techie to the core, I couldn't believe some of the things I saw there. It's very exciting to see some of the cutting edge technology that's coming our way this year. Of course we got the full tour of the enormous Panasonic pavilion, where we were able to see, hear, and touch some of the great new products Panasonic will be releasing.  What was your favorite product at the show?Well, the VIERA TVs are still our favorite product, it is difficult to improve something that's near-perfect! I personally am very excited about the new VIERA tablet as well as the fitness band, which links directly to VIERA Connect (the successor to VIERA Cast that looks very promising) so you can work out at home, and get all your information displayed wirelessly to your VIERA TV! As Panasonic’s first 3D family, what has your experience
been like with the new products?
It's been an amazing experience to be able to experiment with the newest technologies. We are grateful every day to be part of the program, and the fact that we can be sincere advocates for 3D technology. I for one am not one to shy away from constructive criticism, which I think has helped other members of this community in determining whether 3D is something for them right now or not. The one comment I made at CES during our interview on the 3D stage I think rings particularly true for the current state of 3D technology, the best 3D content is the content you create yourself. I think this is where 3D will really take off, and Panasonic has the jump on the competition by offering a great consumer level 3D Camcorder which is an amazing piece of equipment. Do you value the opportunity to share your insights and feedback
on new products with Panasonic?
Panasonic has been fantastic in seeking our feedback on all our products. Greg Harper and I were in constant communication as we were the first people to play with the P50VT25 TVs and his help has been fantastic, as always. Everybody else at Panasonic that we've had the pleasure of meeting has also been absolutely great, and really seem to appreciate everything we shared with them. The ‘ideas for life’ guideline is something that they live every day, and the ideas that come from customers are what shape the improvements and innovations for which Panasonic is renowned.
