AOC L32H961 32 Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

Review By Stuart Feibusch : Editor PC NEWS

When I reviewed the AOC L32W961 (July 2009) it was AOC's best 32-inch HDTV. AOC L32W961 - The Best HDTV Deal Gets Better

Review By : Stuart Feibusch  NYCSOFTWAREMAN@aol.com

When AOC first came out with last years L32W861 32" , 720p HDTV . aochdtvreview.blogspot.com/2009/04/aoc-3... There weren't any other HDTV's in that price range that came close to its picture quality. It matched up well against more expensive 32",720p LCD HDTVs . However as the LCD prices dropped other companies started coming out with HDTV's that offered more in the way of features. With this new 32" HDTV 720p model AOC not only improves on picture quality. But it now offers advanced new features usually found only in the higher priced HDTVs. It does all this while keeping the same low retail price of $450.00.What I really like about AOC, is they don't put out several different 32"

Forget the DVDs, otherwise you may find yourself far from getting the highest mode of entertainment. Of course, we were right until recently when we used to think that nothing can beat our DVDs as far as the best entertainment appliance is concerned. Of course the sound and picture quality of a DVD was free from any direct visible challenge. But as we see that nothing is immobile in the world of technology, a new miracle happened in digital video players technology. The inventors called it Blue-Ray. These Blue-Rays are well set to replace the DVD players as the most prominent source of video watching. To bring the DVDs to the threshold of extinction, not only its advanced mechanism and much improved storage capacity will play a significant role, but the increasing popularity of HDTVs...

If you get your TV signal from satellite or cable, invest in a small indoor digital antenna so you can get a signal when the satellite or cable service is out.

Use a surge suppressor with your system and plug all of the interconnected components into it.

If your TV is mounted on a wall and has a separate power plug, make sure that the outlet has a surge suppressor built in.

Two things to consider when mounting your TV on the wall:

1) Mounting it above a working fireplace is not a good idea. The heat and soot from the fireplace will eventually destroy the set.

2) Be sure to mount it so that when you're seated it's a comfortable height and you don't have to look up or down to watch the set.
