Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, but it'd be nice to see the video galleries support higher quality viewing. I love the way Facebook allows viewing of the HD version of a video if the uploaded video was in fact created with an HD profile. Just uploaded a new video to our gallery, and it's the exact same file I uploaded to Facebook, and the quality when viewing on Facebook is much better because they allow viewing the full res video.

Thanks!
We totally agree. Everything looks so much better in HD. Potential buyers would be more eager to own the equipment if they could see the importance of HD and the difference it makes in the quality of these videos.
I also agree. I think it's a combination of bandwidth and equipment.
AS HD gets more support on more devices and we get the data services (4G/WiMax not 3G) to handle the extra payload HD will explode.
HD will "arrive" when YouTube videos are all made in HD until then current quality will persist.
Anyone with a Panasonic VIERA HDTV, Blu Ray or Toughbook is on a fast track! ;-)
For people who like HD music videos VEVO.com is a must!
Cheers y'all, great thread!
With as fast as this technology is changing it won't be long. Thanks for the heads up on VEVO. My husband is bringing it up now. You just made his day.
I have to agree with the other members. It seems to me that since we're living in HD, we should be able to post up some cool stuff in HD.
To satisfy the urge to display all the stuff we're doing with all these great Panasonic products, Evan and I joined vimeo. Now we can put up true HD videos with great audio and be limited to no more than 1.5GB. Yep, 1.5GB videos!
I just want to reiterate my feelings. We Panasonic owners have the ability to make high quality videos with this great technology and yet we can't share it here at LiHD.
I find it very frustrating that to load a video here we have to drop the quality way down - well under 350mb to share a video.
Here's a few we made recently. They work great at Vimeo and I can link it here obviously
but to add here here at LiHD you have to dumb down the movie a ton. Even then I find the movies won't always load. Those are at h264 (blu-ray) quality and all done with a GH1 (except for the in-flight with Rifle).
