We built this site for you to share your HD experiences and perspectives with other likeminded people, so we’re always looking to enhance your experience here.  Is there something you’d like to see more of?  Saw a cool idea somewhere else and think it would work great here?  Don’t be shy – if we don’t hear from you, we can’t make this site the best that it can be.

I would like to see more in depth and detailed "How-To" examplesand experiences with this new technology.

I want to learn how to get the best.  Perhaps more exchanges between members will help to answer more questions for all of us.

I would like to see pictures of everyone set up, if it is your own or had some one come and install it for you where did you put your gear? A place to show off what you have done to your set up. Is it one wall of on a stand or table, Does your room have plenty of light do you have another HDTV if so where? Plasma of LCD which one would you get next?

I have seen sites for this and have not really posted anywhere yet, I like to get ideas of how people set the home theater up to enjoy. I have it on my wall right now and it is just the right height for viewing from our sofa, surround sound is the key and the sub is in the cornor to have the bass just right for those awesome movies.

Why did you put it on the stand if you did or why on the wall? HDTV

A link to showcase your home theater set up. a place to go to let everyone know how much you enjoy your new HDTV.

Hi Alee

Thanks for your feedback!  We are definitely looking to provide more how-to content and love your idea of making some of these more in-depth.  We're always working on things to improve the community experience and we'll add your idea to the list.

Hi Daniel,

Your idea is great too. We will definitely encourage the LiHD families to do this-in the meantime, perhaps you have some photos of your own set up that you can share with the community? Perhaps a picture of your home theater. We would love to see that as well , and maybe someone else from the community will even step in and make some suggestions. That is one of the great things about this program; people helping people.  You should always feel free to upload any content you've created into the Community Gallery - just click on the Upload Content button when you're on your Member Page to get started.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

I'd like to see close up photos of the BACK of equipment hooked up - it can all be so confusing- I need better instructions on what goes where!

My biggest "pet peeve" with equipment is what to do with all the chords.  You have this fabulous entertainment center, the latest and most impressive technology, but how do you keep it all nice and neat!  There many products advertised and sold to keep it all together.  How do some of you manage the chords, power supplies and cables necessary to operate much of this equipment.

It would be great to learn more about how all the different available parts of HiDef work and work together to help pull together what I need as I start upgrading things. There's so much to learn and I'm just getting started. Where is the best place around here to find this kind of information?

Wonderful site. Thank you, Panasonic.

There is a  How-To section on the site and if you go up to the menu at the top, you can connect and post what information and/or help you need and there are many people here who can help from their own experiences.  I also have been thinking about how do I want to upgrade existing equipment.  I already have an HDTV but now I see they are making the HDTV's with Blu-ray players and think I would lilke to go that route before getting a separate player.

Also, depending on your needs, you  might consider a home theatre system.  I was suprised to see the prices are more reasonable than first thought and, if you want to look at different models you can also got o the HD Gear link at top ane look at some of the different models.

I'd love to see the addition of a technical "production" area ... where we could bat around the different outputs and production considerations of photos and video. A good place for questions and resource offerings to help us with the software we use for editing ditigal imagery. Like I could help someone with the basic features of Photoshop and I'm sure someone could help me with the basics of Premier Pro, Sony Vegas, etc.

A place we could go to discuss "accessories" to our pieces of the whole - hardware too!

Thanks for listening,

Kev
