Great thread! It's funny when I left Miami and went to Troy, NY I wanted snow, skiing and autumn. I guess I figured 18 years of sun and waves was enough for a while.

The great thing about LiHD now is that we all can do this now. It's better when the cities do it but when I go back to NY I will leave 1 Panasonic HD IP cam at my house or somewhere in the Everglades with the WildLife Commision's permission to stream to the net.

I just saw a Florida family's blurb entry that reminded me of some NY squirells i adopted. The Walker squirells, ad they all had nicknames that I forget now. If only I had even a TZ50 then, would be so cool.

dunno, working in Education Advocacy in Florida makes stuff like that cool to me.

I'm actually loving the ubiquitous live cam in the Gulf. It's always good when you can see for yourself.

Maybe it's the human condition that makes us yearn for the unfamiliar, or the distant. Either way if you are in town when I am, i have enough music and food skills to throw a decent meetup, you are all invited!

For all the NJ folks, I have been to Joizzee, a few times, what is the deal with all these Jersey shows? I never met those fols when I was there LOL, fake reality TV for the win or am I stuck in a time warp?
