How do you condense a video so you can upload it and stay under 150 mb? I took a 5-6 second video on my camera but it was just over the 150 mb limit so now I need to know how to condense it so I can upload it. I have to admit, I need a class on what to do after you take video. I mean, I've learned how to put it straight on DVD and do a little editing but is there a step-by-step website or someplace I can go that says, "if you want to just create a dvd, do this" or "if you want to upload a section of your video, do this" or "if you need to condense your video do this"...LOL -Rana

There are a lot of tutorials and different software, but you can use Movie Maker which is within windows program and should be one for Mac (iMovie). Here is a link desktopvideo.about.com/od/editingsoftwar... or software and also free tutorials. If you have Roxio that also works with video. Other people may also have some information too. There is plenty out there and free, too.

Yeah...I tried to import it into Movie Maker but since the format from the camera puts it in .mov, I need to first convert it..I'm assuming. I just don't know why there seems to have to be so many steps. Does anyone know if any of the softwares support .mov?

Quicktime will do it, but have to check to see if you would need to purchase Pro (not too expensive; $29.95). Go to www.apple.com where you can down load the latest version of Quicktime (free version) and can upgrade to Pro at any time.
