I recently got a G1 and am in love!  I find there are certain things I just adore taking photos - subjects I never knew I'd enjoy shooting so much.

(Besides my daughter of course) - I absolutely adore taking photos of flowers in particular.  The quality shows up so well and the colors just burst out.  What are your favorite photo subjects?

I've experimented in the past with black and white film but I never get results I like.  I was wondering if there

are any better ways?  These days, I can use my digital camera and convert the photo's to b & w through the

software I use.

Double JumpI go out in search of anything interesting. Going to the ZOO, a Civil War Reenactment, Festivals, Car Shows. Just last night went to the Fair and shot a motocross event. (I use a Nikon D300, with a 18-200 Nikon VR lens. My work horse lens.)

This is a shot I took last night at a Fair Grounds near me.

They have one race after another till after dark. I took about 800 shots to end up with a handfull of keepers. http://www.flickr.com/photos/maknbacon/sets/72157621312056465/ for more shots in this set.

Hi Kate, I love to take pictures of outdoor things and my family. My camera though stinks and I have to learn to take better pictures.

I just went to a wedding this weekend and I had light reflections in the center and cut off peoples body parts.
