It's all Kayla and LumixBob's fault!  Their amazing HDR photos got me started playing around with HDR and now I'm hooked!  I want to share a few before and after HDR photos for everyone.  I've been using a free trial program called HDR MAX from Ariea  I've only just begun to get into this program but it's pretty cool IMHO.

You can get pretty crazy with the effect and make the shot almost crayonish if you want.  I like just taking a shot and making it pop a bit more.

Very nice work, but you aren't even touching the potential of HDR. HDR will perform best when you are photographing scenes that have a very wide dynamic range. The best photos (any type) are taken during the "golden" hour - the 30 minutes before and after sunrise and sunset.

The most difficult photos are at high noon when the sun is overhead. Cameras cannot capture the wide dynamic range some lighting presents, and that's where HDR can really make your photos stand out. Keep shooting, keep posting!
