Not sure if this is the right place to post this... but here goes.
We really need a new camera. Right now we're using an 8.1 MP Sony Cybershot DSC-W100 , just a small pocketsized digital camera.
It's been a great portable camera... but it's been dropped and the video continually tries to re-focus - it's time to move on.
I've been looking and comparing for a long time. I don't think I want to move up to a full D-SLR. My skills and knowledge are limited, the wifes, more-so. Therefore, I'm leaning toward a Super-zoom with HD Video capabilities. Plus, fundage is limited....
I've read comparisons, specs, and reviews, and my limited comprehension has led me to the FZ-35. It seems that this has almost all the options I've been looking for (Zoom, HD Video, Longer shutter speeds for Night exposures, Manual setting options, etc.), and there seem to be Rave reviews. In fact, one review for FZ-35 said Panasonic is 'at the top of their game right now'.
My question is, if you have one, do you like it or love it? What other things do I need to consider?
AND, Since technology changes every day, and the FZ-35 has been out for awhile, IS there a comparable Upgraded camera coming out soon that I should possibly wait for?
Thanks
