I think everyone has their dream shot, or shots. What are some shots you want to take, it may be people places or things you think would look amazing in a photo. I have a few, but one would be a photo on every continent and then edit them into one picture! show the variations!

Great idea Cameron, i actually was thinking along the lines of that. I always wanted to travel around the globe and go site-seeing to every part of the world. I also want to take photos of all the wonders of the world as well, including ancient wonders to present-day modern wonders. In addition, maybe get a chance to take unique photos from activities such as scuba diving, ski diving, skiing, jet skiing, and other things of such nature.

Thats great christian, My dream shot be of a sunset. But the perfect sunset shot. I think of it as one universal picture/concept because everyone has a sunset everywhere around the world. And even though it is the same sun, it is different in every part of the world. I would like to travel around and find that perfect shot. I don't know if i make any sense but yes.

Oh wow. What can be a dream shot? One person's dream can be another person's nightmare! For me a dream shot can be of any subject at any time at any place. The subject is not important nor is the color, or scenery. To me, my dream shot is that one photo that everyone looks at and stops whatever they are doing. That one shot that makes your jaw drop, your hair on the back of your neck stand up, and whisper to your self OH ... MY .. GOSH. That's my dream shot :)

i like that concept ana, never thought of the sunset that way, makes perfect sense to me. You're right soldier one person's dream can be another person's nightmare and thats the beauty of it, there are so many different perspectives out there for every shot there is. But i like ur thoughts on your dream shot, never could go wrong with a shot that makes one stop and make the hair on the back of someone's neck stand up. Must be a pretty powerful shot to make someone react the way u described it.

Most of my photography is with human subjects, particularly the kids. I often have myself thinking of great ideas of how I'd love for certain pictures to turn out, or if we went to a certain location how great it might turn out. Reality is that often my best planned attempts turn out "so-so" and it's the random shot taken on a whim that ends up being my favorite!

thanks guys And you are right kristen, the random unplanned shots are the ones that come out great. I think the planned shots seemto come out less awesome is that we put such high expectations on them because of what we picture them in our head

Yeah, I often just take shots as I go through places, and later look through to see if any are really good! I love taking candid shots of people cause their facial expressions are priceless!

Cameron, I agree. Candid shots are the best... you tend to get better photos and amazing facial expressions
