What do you think is the most positive way HD has impacted your life? Do you spend more quality time with your friends and family because you’re making videos? Are you capturing moments from your children’s lives that you weren’t before? Start talking it out and you probably won’t be surprised to discover you’re in a community of like-minded people.

Yes, a year ago I had not idea what HD really was now I understand what it is and enjoy it so much that I have found what works for us. If watching movies and taking pictures as well making memories is what you enjoy. Then Panasonic has made it easier for me to capture our life. The SD card reader is one of the best features not only you can see what you just did but, make anything just a little special on the big screen. You can turn any moment into a movie with the SD cards. Movie night, big game or just playing the Wii is so much fun for us we not only do things around the big screen but it has made every one a shutter bug in our family. If the HD channel is avaible then we watch it in HD it opened our eyes to what we were missing. One of the best things we enjoyed was watching the Olympics this past summer in HD it made the games very exciting to watch each event. Find out what is out there on the market for cable that is so important compare each product and who can get you the most HD channels I am still looking for the best choice for our HDTV. I think i have the best plan to fit our budget, from cables to HD channels living in HD is truly the best..

It's almost more real than reality. It's always amazing to look at an image that is more colorful and vibrant than the item itself.

None of my televisions are HD but I have cable. I don't pay for the HD cable stations since I don't have an HD TV. Even though everything will be HD next years, will I notice any difference since my TV's aren't HD? (I'm not a techie, you can tell, LOL) Thanks!

That is what I want from my HD TVs, I thought I was expecting too much, but maybe I need to figure out some fine tuning here.

LOL! How has HD changed my life .... well, let's see - it's been the most inspirational reason I've ever had to upgrade everything video related in my world. It's a breath of fresh air after many seasons of cabin fever. Because of the beauty and clarity of HD, I became quickly addicted. This household has "taken the plunge" from 1080p tvs in every room to 1080 broadcast quality HD video equipment. Heck, I'm such an addict now that I even bought a crane for my video productions. The crane's so heavy I can't even drag it so now I'll need to hire someone ... man, I need to find a 12 step program. Wait, hold off on that 12 step program til I find the perfect tripod to work on the ATV. This is one fast moving industry trend which continues to increase our options and choices and makes hd options more affordable to consider. Okay, okay ... after the first of the year, I'll look for that 12 step HD program. Til then, I reserve my right to upgrade! The deals out there right now are amazing! I want a better refresh rate in my office and at least 46 inches in the bedroom.

Interesting question. HD hasn't changed my life. Yet. As soon as my cable company has HD in my rural neck of the woods, then I can justify an HD set. So, I guess it has made me anxious for new equipment! :)

My sister just made the switch. We're just getting used to the idea of no more rabbit ears. Our next TV, though, will be HD with bells and whistles. I want a flat panel unit. I've been really impressed by the ones my friends have.

I have the HD TV, now I have to figure how to get this LCD on a wall and how far away to be. Guess I will have to go read around here. Anyone have any experiences in this endeavor? I am so afraid that the TV will just fall off from the weight of it, then there are the little things like cable box, recorders, speakers etc....

There is so many websites and information on the net to research all your questions. Before the big screen came I took a month and a year to find everything about the HDTV world. Cables speaker placment to your cable company and yes, how to hang your new HDTV on your wall is just as important as well. Cable is important how much HDTV are you willing to spend and where you live is good too. I went with Verizon FIOS if anyone out there has a chance to pick this up do it. This is helpful to get all those awesome channels in HDTV, who has the most and for the price I want as well. Dish or cable is the next question it's really up to you what you can afford. I am going with middle of the road right now don't have all the channels but, have enough for all the family memebers in my house. How high should it go on the wall well that is what you want most brackets can hold the HDTV so it will not fall but, have it install for you if you don't know what your doing. Plus it does look so cool on the wall and why not it's 2009 show it off you just spent good money on your enjoyment why not go all the way and do it right. If you have a bright room or a room with daylight LCD is the way to go plasma is a all around flat panel HDTV to view for any room in your house. The key to your system is one of the most important parts to your home entertainment the remote control. This is the key for everyone to use in your family anyone should be able to pick it up turn on the HDTV and watch TV it's that simple. If some one comes over and needs to watch a DVD then it should be so easy for that person to enjoy the movie. Remote contorls are the most important part you can get a easy one or a web site base remote or the cable set top box remote must learn everything. Then we will get into micros which is another step web base remotes and touch screens as well. Again it's your budget what you can control your system with, I have a few remotes and continue to explore what is easy to use for us. I have my favorite and my wife does as well, she enjoys it cause she knows that remote the best. If it works for her and mine works for me and it gets us to our channel then so be it. Verizon FIOs is so cool they upgrade our set top box twice so far and more channels have been added.
