I have heard that people have had some issue's with Picasa. I have to admit, it has been an essential tool in my media arsenal. I think if you try version three (brand new) it will be vital to you as well!

Feel free to email me with any questions.

Here is an intro video to show you why it is so great:

Sounds great Adam, but when I see free I wonder what will be on my computer and/or are there pop ups in the work that I submit to all? Is it 'totally free'? Could you tell us just a bit more about this program?

I am still a novice with this and I continue to be a skeptic.

I do love the way that the interface appears in the video, so needless to say...I am considering something like that as an option for the hundreds of photos on my computer.

I use Picassa and am very happy with it. It's a Google product and easy to use with a web interface or the downloadable that you use on your computer before you upload. You can password protect it or make it available to anyone. It's sure easier than doing tables in HTML and coding everything yourself!

Well, Thanks for the great advice.. I have been using Picasa since and I love the way it gets rid of red eye in a click, the organization of my photos and there are a large number of them.

Don't see the need to go out and spend money on something when this  basically suits all of my storage and editing needs.

I downloaded and used this today and it's amazing! Way better than the original version.

Thanks for spurring the idea to upgrade.

I really like the Picasa 3 upgrade. My son sent me this picture of his college campus in the snow. (Snow is rare for us in NC). I thought it was an interesting photo.

Wow ... that is beautiful! It's so peaceful looking. We don't see snow often in DFW.

I did live in NY/NJ for six years and saw more flakes than I could count. Honestly, I think I like it better in pictures - and I know my automobile insurance company likes it better in pictures for me. I did keep my Louisiana license plate and registration on the car - as a warning label to the natives that I had no clue what I was doing. I think it was thoughtful.

Thanks again, Linda!

I will have to download this latest version.  There is so much out there today and have found it easier to use one program  for photos (although I have several).  The picture is great but must admit, living in the South now transplanted from Philadelphia, I do not miss the snow except it does make for great photos.

Oh do I ever concur regarding living in the snowy regions.  However, I also agree that Picasa 3 is great, I love everything about it...even how it goes right to the red eyes and gets them outta there.

Thanks to you people here I am downloading some good stuff.
