I've already mentioned that I have a food blog but I've also cooked for ranches for 10+yrs. I have fed up 50 cowboys at once for breakfast and lunch but currently only feed about 15..thank goodness! I love to do food photography and have improved a great deal over the past year thanks to some other fine foodies like Jaden from Steamy Kitchen. She mentored me and really helped with resources and advice on how to improve the lighting, what lens, etc. All the recipes I post consist of step by step photos. In fact, if I don't post step by step photos, I get emails about it. My favorite foods are:
- Salmon
- Pizza
- Beef Wraps
- Any kind of potatoes
- grilled vegetables
- and gummie bears! lol
What about you? Favorite foods? Food photography?

Yep.. crawfish lover here. The seasons almost over, they're getting a little tough to peel. We boiled 30 lbs last weekend and will probably be the last batch for a while. Po Boys are great and I love a good muffuletta. Central Grocery on Decatur St. in the French Quarter makes a really good one.

WOW cooking for 50+ cowboys and hungry ones at that I bet. I am going to visit your food blog and step by step with pictures is such a great idea and also a big help. Looking forward to reading some of the food blogs.

Brenda, I thought I didn't like spicey seafood until I visited Charleston and Corpus Christi in 2003. Low country boil and west Texas boil are both bland.

What are your favorite foods to cook? and does anyone have an amazing recipes? I just finished myfreshman year of college, and I was on the chef team so me and an 3 others would switch up to make lunch and dinner for 40 students, and next year I will be doing the same thing. Always looking for creative amazing dishes to feed them!

IN addition to great recipes here Cameron, you should try out new things in the kitchen. I like taking tried and true and mix it up a bit. I kinda go with the flow when I'm cooking so sometimes I end up with more than I planned on cooking cause I had an inspiration after starting. That keeps cooking and experimentation fresh but I am learning the discipline of keeping to a recipe consistently. Cheers!

Yeah, I usually take a recipe and add a spin to it, or make it my own. The program is non-profit, and sometimes we get food donations, and its a can of this and a can of that plus mystery meats, so sometimes its making it look pretty and coming up with a crazy name to get people to eat it. My favorite meal is Venison roast with baked potatoes, had to just tell everyone it was a roast. I am loving this forum...

best Po boy I ever had was speckled trout from Lil Ray's in Gulfport... he claimed to have caught them all himself every time we go to New Orleans, we pick up 15 loaves on Reising's Po boy bread... "Makes you fat, or a little fatter..."

Years ago we vacationed in Gulf Shores, AL and had Amberjack (fish) for the first time. I've never had it any other place and we can't get it here in Ohio, but it was the best fish I've ever had!
