I have a labrador (see above) that makes some interesting noises when she's sleeping or not comfy on the sofa, which I'm looking forward to capturing on my HD camcorder I am hoping to win off this site!

I'd be interested to hear from other members who have pets that make strange noises or do bizarre things. Oh, and almost forgot that when our lab (Bella) has a poo, straight after she will go into lunatic mode and run at the fastest speed possible in circles until she either runs out of breath or collides into something....sometimes her owners lol.

Look forward to reading your stories.

Cheers

LOL!! I hope you do win that camcorder and get to share with us, Ian!

Right now, I'll resist the temptation and save you all the eye rolling. Three of mine are laying in my bed (probably why I'm not): two are snoring  and the third is talking in her sleep. She's probably telling the other two to stop snoring.

Wouldn't you love to know what dogs dream? I somehow doubt it's what we "think" they might dream.

LOL. A talking dog!! You should go on one of those programs featuring talented pets.

I'll keep my fingers tightly crossed for the camcorder competition and all being well I'll be chasing the dog around the front lawn with a camcorder in the not too distant future :))

You've definitely got your hands full by the sounds of things. The good news is that if you're ever cold at night there's always an extra layer of insulation you can turn to if you need it. Only problem is that this insulation snores. lol

Good to hear from you.

Cheers

Molly , my lab is a big snorer..she competes with hubby!!  I once asked my vet when she was still a pup about the noise.  Kevin, have you ever had to kick the dogs out to sleep?

We had two Pugs (Hooch and Buster) and their snoring combined with hubbys drove me to the guest room. It was the three of them against the one of me. Needless to say I never had the satisfaction of kicking any of them out of the bed.

My pooch is a crazy clown of a boxer dog.  They never seem to grow up! Noises? He snores like a bull elephant, talks like Chewbacca, whistles like a steam kettle and has now has the horrible habit of teeth grinding when he sleeps. (Just had him checked over for that, needs a little gum work done in the near future). He can make both ends of his body talk.......... perhaps i shouldn't say that!!

Didn't there used to be a TV show, now we're talking like 40 years ago, that had contests for animals who could talk?

I had a cousin that had a dog that I swear she could say "I love mama" .  As for snoring, I have two shih-tzu's and

the smaller one always snored terribly, until she got a heart condition and was put on medicine.  I don't know what

the connection is but she hardly snores at all anymore.

I believe you, because I had a man that came to a place I used to work, and he kept telling us his dog could talk. Well one day he brought his dog, and it would say "I love you." Of course not in the same way we would sound, but close enough you knew what it was getting out! soooo crazy!! lol And I have a dog that snores too.. very bad, like as soon as she lays her head down, sometimes I wonder if it isn't some type of doggy asthma (i don't know if thats a real condition though)
