Very kind, Helen ... thank you. The flowers were beautiful that day - I sat them in the field and it was covered with those little yellow flowers. We were in a swamp and it was either water or flowers everywhere you looked. It's already summer here in Texas. Maybe next spring I'll take them out to run around in the bluebonnets. I wish they lasted longer!

Great pictures of both. Helen, love the theme. I wil have to figure out a spring theme with my cats indoors. Easy to do. Now if I would take time to start doing photography again, I just might have some new photos of my cats. Looking forward to seeing more soon.

Thanks! I'm curious - as I haven't had a cat in many, many years. How in the heck do you set cats up for a photo? Do you just have to wait til the get in a good position? I'd imagine some real cat lovers might have the best idea how this might be accomplished. All of my cat photos, as a child, were a blur of fur. Course, come to think of it: my dog photos now tend to be that way too.

I can remember the day when I decided to take photos of my childhood cats. They were lying om their backs resting in the sun. Those were the best pictures I took with my first Instamatic Camera more than more than 40 years ago. i put them in my own album then and still have those shots--hard to beleive actually.

What beautiful dogs! The composition and quality of both photos is great, they should be in the gallery for all to see. Helen, I love the casual composition of that photo. I don't know if it was by accident or design but the effect is great. In contrast, I love the structured composition of Keven's photo, it is so in keeping with the disciplined posture of that gorgeous 'chocolate' dog. Photo critique over........... really, I just want to hug and play with both of them!
