I have been eating three whole wheat bagels a day with peanut butter for the last 7 years... My favorite snack!!!

Why is that... 3 or 4 times a year? C&R bagel with butter are my favorites

Sometimes I like to pig out and buy a ham egg and cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel. It's delicious but probably extremely unhealthy.

Well ... as a Jewish gal from the East Coast I was pretty much raised on bagels ... and have to say that one of the few disappointing things about being in California is the sad lack of good ones :( Even when you can find a decent bagel (rare) you still can't find my favorite kind of all ... half & half ... that's a marble-swirled bagel that's part plain and part pumpernickel. Toast that up with some cream cheese, a slice of beefsteak tomato and touch of salt .. mmmm ... if I'm feeling particularly adventuresome, I'll toss on a few capers :) Where I draw the line are any bagels (save for cinnamon raisin) that attempt to get all fruity or sweet ... blueberries and chocolate chips have no busines in bagels. Those are donuts :)
