Mine was actually very non-traditional. We had a few Korean guests this Thanksgiving (My little brother's best friend's entire family) and they brought Bulgogi, rice and Kim-Chi....it was deeeeeeeeeeelicious coming in close second was of course STUFFING!! What were your favorite dishes?

I made a green bean casserole using the recipe you put in the other thread, it came out great, so thanks for that! :) I'll probably use a tad less sour cream next time, but other than that, it was totally worth it. My girlfriend made some candied sweet potatoes which were outrageous.

OK, this is probably going to be super weird too... My favorite thing is something id like to take credit for inventing (probably not, lol) but its vanilla pie.. Most people probably know chocolate pie, well when i was about 11 or 12 i wasn't really into chocolate, so i asked my mom why i couldn't have a vanilla pie, needless to say shes been making me one now for the past 10 years. Its not anything special, vanilla pudding in a graham cracker crust, with whipped cream.. i like it! haha :)

Well, based on how many times I returned for leftovers over the next few days, I would say my mother-in-law's cranberry jello salad was my favorite. It is crammed full of cranberries, oranges and pecans!

It is a toss up between my mom's pork sausage stuffing and my sister-in-laws 6 layer jello. All in all the food was out of this world.

I have never had a pork sausage stuffing, but it sounds very good! I may have to find someone to try that one next year.. although it probably wouldn't be as good as a perfected "mom recipe" :P

o0o Vanilla pie sounds delicious! You could even spice it up with some nilla wafers mmmmm :) Im glad the greenbean casserole worked out for you sebastion!! I should have told you that the sour cream was too much in the recipe, I forgot all about it until I began making it this year, I didnt use as much and it didnt come out as thick which was good.
