It was a Saturday morning, and we didn't wanna heat up the whole house...

they turned out a little salty, so next time, we'll omit the salt from the above recipe...

oh, yes, we used Crisco instead of LARD; but whole milch and real butter

I love homemade biscuits topped with sausage gravy, a couple of eggs, sausage paddies, hash browns, and a bowl of grits. Finish it off with a cup or two of coffee.

Sounds like the perfect breakfast Gery. I haven't ate biscuits in such a long time. Maybe ill try this recipe at home (hopefully i don't burn the house down)....or i could just convince my mom to make it when she visits :p
