Of the tons of reasons to want one I will just say the Touch LCD of the DMC-G2A I still have to get a waterproof camera so if I ever do any work in the rain, my cam would survive, plus underwater photography is fun times. Thanks Team Leader!

Check with the Wirgau Family. As an LIHD Family I think they got a Panasonic underwater camera to test a few years back.

We have the Panasonic underwater video camera... got it to try out a couple of years ago. Pros and cons with this one. You have to be careful to remember to never turn it off when you're in the water.... we learned that the hard way and fried the camera while we were using it at Aquatica!! Ooops!! It takes very good video, but the pictures we're that great compared to the Lumix cameras and the SLR.

Water cameras are great. I've used the TS1 and its amazing how you can take photos underwater. It's a fun thing to bring to a pool party or the beach!
