We give. Does anyone know how you go about formatting the SD card for the G2. We have no problem formatting our sd card in the TZ50 or the FX37 but we cannot find format on the menu for the new DMC-G2K. What are we missing?

Look at page 32 of manual to access the set up menu. Then look at page 39 for the symbol displayed there to select the format icon. I hope this helps.

It was one of those you know you should be seeing it but just can't quite get there situations. Our mistake was in having intelligent auto on. It won't come up on the menu if IA is on. Thanks again for your help. It is an ongoing learning process and we have a whole lot yet to learn.
