Ok, Today's question!! You've got this great HD TV, and you want everything to look better than real life right? How are you accomplishing this? Which HD devices do you have/love/plan to get next? Here's the Question list? 1. What HD devices/services do you have - how do you feel about them? 2. Which HD device/service is on your shopping list once the recession recedes?

1. I have HDTV - with Comcast Cable and as stated in previous posts around the Forum, will be getting HD service shortly. My HDTV has a DVD player built in and at some point will get a Blu-Ray/HDTV combo. I have a new all in one wireless desktop and when this model came out. you could only get Blu-Ray built in for the gaming model. I do have wide screen and HD audio and can view sites that are in HD. I can also plug my cable service with no adapters into my computer, but have not done yet done so. 2. I want a Blu-Ray player and they have come down in cost considerably, but think I want to get a device with built in Blu-Ray player so will have to wait until prices come down in the HDTV/Blu-Ray combos. I just do not like the idea of a separate player and more chords/cables when I just got rid of most of that "mess", so I can be patient.

Man, this is Pandora's Box! I think if I walk in the house with one more box ... I shiver to think. Three HD tvs: 63 inch LCD (720p); 58 inch plasma (1080p) and 36 inch LCD (1080p). - love them all. Then just run of the mill DVDs, Tivo kind of stuff. This is what's next to be upgraded but I still can't decided what to get. We watch lots of tv - very few movies. Canon XH G1s camcorder. Shopping list ... time to upgrade the players probably to blu-ray. Then of course put a blu ray burner in the desktop and laptop for easy sharing of the videos. Heck, it's going to be a never ending list!

Does the size of the TV screen make any difference in how good the HD picture is?

Does size matter? To me it does. While the image may be just as good on a 32 inch screen as it may be on a 60 inch screen, it doesn't appear to be the same because of the magnification created by size. Technically, the two tv's might have the identical specs - even brand - but the bigger image is simply easier to see. A definite consideration for my aging eyes. LOL I find how far I am from the tv to be the biggest player in determining size.

1. I have HDTV and Comcast for Internet and cable. I like for both and reliable. 2. Instead of adding new equipment with individual purchases, except for a camera and camcorder, I am seriously considering a theatre home system. I have been researching and was able to do some comparisons by using the HD Gear link at the top. I was surprised to see I can set up a home system and would be much happier than rushing out to get the latest equipment.

I have two TVs with HD, but CC Cable down here just doesn't seem to provide stable programming, so I have yet to 'enjoy' it. I do have a camera that is 1080 HD, haven't used it because I bought it at a 'going out of business' sale from one of the larger electronic dealers ... got it home and the box was minus the charger, battery, manual etc. So my quest for better pictures is taking longer than I expected. On my list is a blu ray player, got to have one.
