Yeah, get to the store right away and stock up on bread, beer, and milk!

Seriously - it's not a switch to HD. It's a switch from analog to digital. Anyone who is only getting television through an antennae will need to have a conversion box. Anyone who already has cable or satellite shouldn't notice any different.

I think the date has been moved to June 12, or thereabouts.

Oh heck ... I thought it was in the next couple/few weeks. Thanks, Linda! Big help! Will have to do something with my Mom's tv in the bedroom.

My cable company has been broadcasting "If you can read this, you are already receiving digital". LOL!

LOL I know mine has been running ads too. I think the switch over to digital is June 12.  We should have a party here which would be s great way to celebrate the switch over.  We should organize something.  I love virtual parties, no traffic, no preparation of food and most of all don't have to worry about what to wear and would be a great way to celebrate.

Two's company, three's a crowd and four is definitely a party!   Now that we have the interest we can get to planning.  More to come.

I am going to tell Community Kate about it. We also should put it on full hype mode until June 12.  We should try to make a slogan.  Something catchy.  We can think of something I am sure and yes, like the idea of people taking pictures and uploading.  Here's an idea, maybe we can get some entertainment from some of the LiHD families.  Their children could think of some cool things to do.  I like that idea since they are LiHD families, they should all participate in the event.  So put your thinking caps on and get creative.  I will start a thread later today.
