So I don't have a Blu-ray and am looking to buy one. What features should I pay attention to? The price range is huge, so it can be confusing!

Hey, I would suggest looking at some of the answerman videos on the site pertaining to blue-ray players. They should give you a bit of guidance on what to look for in blue-ray players.

Here are the top 3 models I would recommend based upon there specifications, features and capabilities: DMP-BD60 - DMP-BD70V - DMP-BD80 http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/shop/Video/Blu-ray-Disc-Players.list.75009_11002_7000000000000005702 The DMP-BD80 has the best overall features/specifications. Although, the DMP-BD70V has a built in VHS player only (The VHS offers no recording capabilities). They all have current rebate promotions and have the top features, including VIERA Cast functionality and Amazon VOD (video on demand).

Look for players that support all the HD audio formats. Also, there are players that can do stuff like Blockbuster Online, stuff like satellite radio and the works. REQUIREMENT: Do make sure at the very least that your player can connect to the internet. That way firmware updates are easy and you can partake in any and all Blu-Ray LIVE activities.
