Using our Panasonic HDC-TM20 camcorder, a GoPro HD remote camera, several video editing programs, and a ton of persistence gave me this. It's the first time I tried to edit in clips and music from different sources. The TM-20 worked great once I turned off the AGS! (AGS pauses the filming when the camera's upside down - and were a lot!)
The hand held was the Panasonic camera. The GoPro was mounted on the tail when I was in the cockpit. You can see how it got moved during the flight. We also put it out on the wing for another flight. The GoPro was shooting at 30fps - which gave us the goofy curved propeller! Next time we'll try 60fps.
I shot from the cockpit with the Panasonic in HD 16:9 but messed up somewhere in the editing and turned it into 4:3. The raw footage on our Panasonic HD TV is STUNNING!
I really learned a lot from this process so making more movies will be a lot easier!
All i can say wow!...That was some pretty good footage right there. I actually never seen a view from this perspective. You did some nice editing too. The camera seemed like it did a good job as well as yourself!
