Hmm never heard of Vudu personally. As far as I know they do not have plans to incorporate Vudu into their offerings. However, they are going to be offering the following which is definitely exciting: About the new VIERA Cast features Fox Sports offers Panasonic owners continually-updated scores, stats, and sports news, available without leaving the program in progress. Netflix unlimited members can now instantly watch thousands of TV episodes and movies streamed from Netflix on new VIERA CAST-enabled HDTVs. Pandora gives music lovers the opportunity to create their own unique "stations" playing just the type of music they love, and to listen to it directly through their Panasonic VIERA CAST HDTV and home theater systems. Skype on Your TV integrates the powerful and popular Skype software application directly into Panasonic HDTVs. Skype software allows users to make free voice and video calls to other Skype users. Owners can now make and receive Skype voice and video calls directly from select new HDTV models. To conduct a Skype video call on a VIERA CAST HDTV, a specially-designed high-performance Panasonic camera, which is sold as a separate accessory, is simply plugged into the television. That is good stuff! Even though between the features offered by Fios (like Twitter) and my PS3 (Netflix), there'll be some redundancy... But hey, if I can stream BluRay quality movies directly to my HD Plasma, that can't be bad!

Yeah it would definitely make the Netflix membership worth way more than the cost! And yes, I will see if I can get some dates/information for when all of it will become available.

Hmm, odd, sounds like a firmware upgrade, or even just a VieraCast upgrade should allow earlier models to take advantage of this as well. That would be a damn shame if it can't though.

I inquired about a firmware upgrade. If one becomes available, I will become aware of it and pass it along. I can't imagine it would be impossible to do.

Very odd, since VieraCast currently has Amazon Video on Demand, which is also streaming... oh well, I'll continue to use my PS3 for Netflix.
