I am in the need of your help! I have a Panasonic HD Camcorder and love it, however I am having extreme difficulty moving my video content to my PC. First when I connected the USB it said there was no photos or video found to import. Then I just tried to open it with Roxio and it imported the content, but saved it as a WINDVD file, which doesn't play on anything. Can anyone offer me a step by step of how to upload my content easily to my PC to view and share with friends? Any help would be great and thank you! I have Roxio, HD Writer and Windows Media if that helps.

Have you tried visiting the roxio page on the site? You may find all the help you need there. I would strongly encourage you to take a look at the video posted by the Richardson Family. http://www.livinginhd.com/go/promo/roxio Hope this helps Rocquan

Thanks for your reply, I am just so confused. I am trying to save my video on my computer and it just isn't working. I have the SD card in the USB port but it won't import the video? Can anyone help? What program should I use on my PC?

Hey Stefanie, Open HD Writer AE or Roxio and use them to find and open the videos. They aren't like JPEG photos that are ready to move. Your camcorder has the movies on the SD card, but it takes a software program like HD Writer AE or Roxio to read and convert them. At some point you'll be able to save the movies as a certain file type. I suggest mpeg-2 HD writer is the fastest way to import and convert to mpeg-2, but Roxio will allow all kinds of cool editing - and take more time to learn how to do it all! hope this helps! Tim

Thanks to everyone for your help. I went through and read the HD Writer manual and learned I had to go into the file and save it as a movie file and I was able to get it to play and save. Thanks so much, I love this product!
