Hello everyone.

I would like to start building content for the Health/fitness Section of LiHD.  Right now there is nothing and I thought a great way to start would be to ask you all for what kind of information you are looking for.

Scott, how about the best way to ease back into a workout routine?  Or perhaps someone who doesn't want to hit the gym yet but maybe do a routine at home and ease back into it before hitting the gym?

I'd like to see some information on nutrition, eating habits to drop/start, what type of nutrition is best for converting fat into lean muscle, or building muscle for people who want to bulk up a bit, what supplements to take to help you live healthier.

From a fitness perspective, I'd lke to see the most effective work-out routines that accomplish the same things as I mentioned for nutrition.

I need some nutrition advice too! I know a lot of the work out aspects, but some videos and pictures on how to properly do things would be helpful! Thanks!

Well Bas,

Everything starts from a good meal plan.  Also.. it is scientifically IMPOSSIBLe to transform fat into Muscle... it just doesnt work that way.  I just uploaded a video called "How To Maintain Your Body"  It will explain a lot about the questions you asked.  Once you view it.. send me soem more questions so I can fill in the answers! :)

Enjoy!

Cameron,

Go to my fitness website www.ScottHermanFitness.com and check out the meal plan demo on there.  I designed it so that it will help ANYONE reach their goals.  Even if you have allergies, a special condition such as diabetes, or are even a vegitarian.

It will help you for sure!!

Thanks Scott! I really appreciate this advice. As someone who's pretty skinny, I wanted to know if this routine was the best way for you to get stronger or is it just simply a way to maximize the amount of calories you burn?

Scott,

Thanks for the info, I looked at the video, it was a little different from what I'd heard in the past (do weights first to burn surplus carbs in the body, then do cardio to burn calories), but since I enjoy weights more than cardio, I am certainly willing to follow your advice :)

I'm really only looking to get rid of the stuff around my waist, that's oh so common with men my age; I am certainly not what you'd call overweight, it's just that the extra weight is all concentrated around the middle. I'm looking forward to your abs routine video.

Good thing I already make sure I have plenty of protein in my diet, and drink a lot of water so my muscle tissue regenerates pretty well, and without too much pain.

Thanks again for the advice.

It is all about being consistent!  Stay on track!  Eat Healthy and exercise regularly.  Rome wasnt built in a day!  Just work at it continuously and you will have the best results!
