Does anyone happen to have an extra camcorder I could buy off them or who would be willing to donate one. I am looking to get an HD camcorder to bring to Haiti to document my trip on March 22nd. As many of you know I spent the summer in the Dominican Republic and in Haiti, and now I am returning on an assessment trip, where we will be counseling and doing deconstruction of a facility! I would love to take pictures and make a film, but right now I have an old Sony digital camera. I am the travel coordinator for the non-profit leadership program I am in, and if you donate we can give you a tax deduction! Thanks everyone for reading! God bless!

I am on the hunt now for a cheaper camcorder, as the $250 I have saved would need to buy the camcorder and tapes! I will also have my small digital camera, so I will have a ton of pics! What would y'all be interested in seeing?

I got a Vivitar dvr 865 HD with two 8 gig Memory cards, and a 4 gig memory card. That gives me about 5 hours or so of recording to document 7 days in Haiti, Should I bring more memory for the trip? Suggestions?

Cam definitely bring another SD card. Always good to have backup and since you don't always use the footage you have when you edit, it's great to have as much as possible. I would love to see some interviews, some shots of any efforts being done to help as well as leftover damage. Good luck!
