It was really strange, I was in a building across from my regular office and I must have either been driving there or walking up the stairs or something because I totally missed it! When I got to the area where my meeting was, everyone was milling about. Oh well, next time :) Friends reported feeling waves under their feet.

I have never experience an earthquake but in school we did many engineering analysis on how to "build structures" that "survive" well. The engineers in california and Japan as well as a consortium of architects and experts that is all they do, those people are my Heroes.

I've survived every Hurricane to hit the Caribbean since 1976. I rarely was out of town whenthey came to visit.

When in the NE I arrived in time for the worst winters on record (at that time).

Now i see the snow ins and icy roads and cringe but I know for my skiing and snow boarding enthusiasts we take it all.
