I am a retired aerospace Tech. from Edwards AFB, Ca. now living in AZ. by the River.
I own a recording Studio called The Sanctuary.
I am dedicated to consumer education as well getting entry level tech. training DVD and online for free.
I think that digital device manufactures should help in the developement of a Web Portal that contains everything about all digital products sold so all consumers can make the right purchases their first time out.
I feel very confident that if our seniors were giving basic home theater tips and best practises that will buy the most bang for the buck first time out.
I feel this way because I know from my own personal digital buying experiences that you can never rely on any salesman out there because they can't answer basic digital questions and I have to ask for the remote that is conviently in the back room.
I am of the opinon that all HDTV's need to be optimized right out of the box because of room lighting and operating environment that all consumers are faced with.
I would welcome a chance to run my theories passed someone at corperate level so as to speed up education for all consumers for all brands.
