I've been so sick the last few days with a sore throat, fever, and aches. But, as with many moms it's hard to take a day off. We recently adopted a dog (my 3 year old named him Bucket) who will be home hopefully Christmas Eve. The thought of walking him in the dead of winter in NY has me freezing from the inside out. So I decided to make all of us some really warm hats and a pair of gloves for myself. I love to crochet and have too many works-in-progress that will never be finished, but I've been on a crocheting mission over the last two days. And for the first time since I've started sharing my crocheting on the web I was able to provide very clear photos thanks to my Lumix Point and Shoot. Check them out:
While in the middle of backing up my over 3000 photos on my Toughbook, we were hit with a nasty Trojan Horse despite having a virus program (it had to have infected us before we added the virus program because my AVG Pro has NEVER failed me before). At any rate, I am sending my laptop for recovery but am not feeling very optimistic that my info will be saved. While I have back ups of my pics before the program, all of the pics that I have taken since becoming a LIHD Family may be gone for good... that includes Thanksgiving, Halloween and some very cool family outing shots.
It is the day after and Halloween was especially fun in 2009. Mya is 3.5 years old and just the perfect age for Trick or Treating. She was so excited, yet respectful making sure to say thank you at every door. She was a football player representing the greatest football team, the NY Giants. Mommy was a mixed bag of horror and I was just being silly. Thanks to our Panasonic Lumix Point and Shoot camera we were able to document the occasion with digital stills and some HD home video. Unlike most years when our digital camera takes good pictures indoors and dark pictures outdoors, the Lumix took excellent night pictures. Please enjoy a few samples from our Halloween night by viewing our Halloween Gallery and we hope your Halloween was as much fun as ours.
We were chosen to be apart of the Living in HD Family Program and had our equipment installed on Wednesday, Ocotber 21, 2009. The pictures below are of the delivery and setup and were taken with a non-Panasonic camera.
