A family vacation is sure to be filled with memories that you’ll want to capture. Remember to pack your chargers so you can keep on recording on for the entire trip – because the trip to the zoo on Friday is going to be just as much fun as the water park was on Monday.

What good are memorable photos and videos if you can’t locate them? Dedicate a part of your computer where all of them can be stored and then organize by occasion. Another great way to store and backup your digital content is on a DVD by using the HD writer software.

The easiest way to make sure you remember to bring all your equipment is to store them all in one bag. Find a bag that comfortably stores all your equipment and related chargers, batteries and cords and you’ll have one less thing to track down before the big family vacation.

HD Writer is a great way to back up your AVCHD footage, however, don't rely on your computer for the ultimate backup. Use a removable backup drive or make frequent DVD backups of your video and photos, and keep it in safe place, away from your computer.
