I have funneled myslef into a lot of Panasonic products, as I think the quality is high and as of yet have not been let down ... I like the concept of syncing still shots video, 3d with my TV and home theatre. I recieve NO panasonic paycheck, but if they offered ...

I have installed my black-friday model #370 panasonic home theatre, updated the firmware, experimented with internet music like my pandora account, and now we have Pirates of the Carrebean cranking away! Sincs flawlessly with my Panasonic TV, which was my hope. Setup was smooth and easy, which was also my hope
Any experienced operator tips to get the most out of this here? I did need to splice the rear speaker cables with added length wire, buts thats the easy stuff.
Any owners comments very appreciated, I am a "manuals-are-like-sleeping-pills" kind of guy.
Here are a couple results, as a followup to the blog i created for the same reason. Many more are unproduced, but right away i found that each raw photo takes a large degree of exposure editing in silkypix.
I do like the deeper starting colors thru the polarizer -
The stich photo below was a complete failure thru the automated program, so i hand-created it in photoshop...each of the 4 originals had different brightness, so i had to insert them as layers, adjust them, the "merge down" to more on to the next one and clean up the edges.
As an update, i am working thru silkypix to process the LX3 raw files; somethings can be done in this program, but others need some photshop'in.
While I clean up some shots where i used the polarizer i described, here is a cool early evening shot that for some reason had these incredible colors in the sky - with a bright moon in the middle ... My wife is rocking away in the hammock for the time of the exposure. And yes, it was as relaxing as it looks!
a post from the road, the adapter tube and polarizer I have fitted to the LX3 are working great together, glad I tried it out....pictures upon return. the LX3 also tells me I am on day 2 of this trip, kind of a funny feature inside the camera I forgot I set it some time ago. a note, I chose an aftermarket adapter tube to bring me to a 52mm filter thread size, much more common that the 46mm of the panasonic product - which then has allowed me to use my 52mm filters and with a step ring, to use my 67mm CPL and ND filters from my dslr.
With two days remaining before the trip, these two guys are packing. they are obviously happy to be the choosen ones. The three real kids left at home are a bit LESS pleased.
