    LiveBlogging: University of Texas

    RemixCitizens!

Today, RemixCity & Panasonic LiHD Family 60 are coming to you LIVE from University of Houston M.D. Anderson Library in the great state of Texas! Y'know, George Bush country, Lone Star State, home of Chuck Norris' Walker Texas Ranger and Whataburger! Not to mention Frenchys! Food is life my friends! Eat it up!

This morning I shot some video of some abstract art in a fountain between the library and the 547 building where you can get an education and an Einstein Bros bagel or both, it's Texas! Go BIG!

Today I saw a great chance to show you directly with regular shots what the difference the 45-200 lens makes compared to my "everyday" 14-45. I won't get too technical but the zoom detail, of the 45-200 is AMAZING! You'll see the photos and the video from my trusty Panasonic LUMIX G1 and Panasonic LUMIX TZ 50.

I'll blog again after I upload them with exposition. I took the photos standing in the same place same angle all that's diffent is the G1 lens. Love the 45-200 I usede it to take those moon photos, dig the detail, look at the images at full size. I wanna work for NASA! Does Panasonic need a NASA science liaison?  I'm available!

Thanks to the Young Conservatives of Texas for repping the Cougars "GO COOGS!" this morning. Cool people. Register to vote y'all and by all means read http://thePrettyPolitics.com (http://thePrettyPolitics.com)

    MODERN MASTERS GROSS PRINCIPE GARTEL

    RemixCitizens!

Recently I was blessed to be invited to the MODERN MASTERS art show opening featuring the master works of Visonary Artists Barry Gross, Salvatore Principe and Laurence Gartel, the Father of Digital Art and my mentor.

To say it was Amazing is to be understated, it was Terrifically Incredible and thanks to Everyone who made the event AWESOME! The long list includes the incredibly alluring Robin White, my awesome inspirational Muse Deb Garcia, beautiful Christine Alfonso and super talented artist Victor Hugo, the amazing and amazingly personable photographer and painter John Stenger and the three men of the moment: Barry, Salvatore & Laurence.

I include a small sample of the images from this momentous occassion in my galleries as Panasonic & RemixCity at Modern Masters but the rest will be up in time after Mr. Gartel himself has his way with the many photos I took that night.

It's incredible when living legends are as humble and as human as these three. It was an honor and a pleasure meeting Mr. Gross whose mind blowing paintings must be seen to be fully appreciated and Mr. Principe whose mixed media reminds me why I absolutely love that medium. Cheers to you both, incredible!

Mr. Gartel is the reason I was there to see his art is a unique pleasure I indulge in at every opportunity and to do it while he is within earshot is even more Awesome. His Vision and plethora of technique is beyond words.

Should you ever be fortunate enough to meet anyone mentioned herein by all means do it, incredible, remarkable, and noteworthy company all. The event was well attended all night and had a great gathering of art lovers. I highly recommend not only the attendees, the gallery, the artists and the art, I recommend you go and buy something for your collection. I indeed will.

Go see the show at the Barry Gross Studio at 3335 NE 32nd Street, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33308. Call 305.609.2463 or visit iconeditions.com [http://www.iconeditions.com]

    True Story: Living in HD

Dear RemixCitizens all around the world!

I trust you are all doing well and if not I hope you will soon.

Serendipitously I came across 3 Panasonic products at a new friend's I thought would be perfect to share with
    my RemixCity LiHD family.

As you can see two of them below: A Panasonic Toughbook and a massive 50 plus inch Panasonic display, yes a monitor not a TV! Awesome right? Of course with the LiHD website front & center!

The beauty of the three Panasonic devices coming to my friend is that they were based on quality of device not even brand affinity or anything else. The laptop: "Great, it's durable, it works." the display "works for me". The HDTV "was the best deal at the store, I don't even know what brand it is.", well, it too is Panasonic.

So my dear LiHD Family, even non LiHD people are discovering Panasonic not through brand loyalty, awareness or marketing but through the distinction of the products themselves. Quality is a universal value, a global mark of distinction.

So the next time you wonder if my (or anyone's) allegiance to Panasonic is perhaps a lil too fanatical remember that I am committed to Quality and I keep finding that Panasonic goes above and beyond in each of their products. Their status quo is Excellence and Ingenuity, in electronics and other products, in everything I have seen so far.

When I find a flaw or something unappealing in a Panasonic product I'll be as vocal as I am now but it hasn't happened yet and the probability looks mighty low.

Cheers to TEAM TOUGHBOOK for the waterproof dustproof workhorse and to the team behind that massive computer monitor. Your products ROCK and even though the owner is super happy with them he just realized they are all Panasonic along with that awesome HDTV he got that "best deal" at the store recently.

GO TEAM PAnasonic: QUALITY eco ideas for LIFE

    The Eclipse - Dec. 21, 2010 - Miami

    Tuesday, January 25, 2011, 12:46 AM

On this historic night I decided to join in the fun and take what photos I could, knowing that I really wasn't equipped or located for optimum results. I took over 50 photos but these are the most interesting to share, the rest are proof of what I already said. It was a great night. Cheers!

See The Eclipse gallery for all my public images.
