On this historic night I decided to join in the fun and take what photos I could, knowing that I really wasn't equipped or located for optimum results. I took over 50 photos but these are the most interesting to share, the rest are proof of what I already said. It was a great night. Cheers!

January 12, 2010 will forever be the day that something serious happened in Haiti.

You may call it a tragedy, thousands died.

You may call it a miracle, many survived.

You may call it an opportunity, we all witnessed.

Now it is January 12, 2011 and whether you're still mouring friends, family, countrymen, fellow Caribbean people, human experience on an unfathomable scale and scope, 12 months are now gone.

This is not where I'll wax poetic. When the earthquake struck, I didn't post photos except of relief efforts I participated in days later,  I made sure not to make a video journal.

Instead I took to the phone, I took to the web and I begged, pleaded, urged, encouraged, and rallied with countless others who knew it was time to do something.

What a day! I gotta shout out The US Coast Guard for making the Red Bull Flugtag Miami 2010 even that more special. There were so many cameras at this event I almost don't need to post my photos and video but Miami New Times has started us off with theirs! Check it out!

I'll wait for Red Bull to post and then I will post mine, what a fun way to spend a Saturday! Even with the rain we had this week (recall July 4th South Florida?!) the day was picture perfect Florida weather, TOTALLY Awesome!

I did everything to stay hydrated and fit since I had two other places to go today but OMG! I need a deep tissue body massage! I also need to make it up to my two dearest friends who I just had to disappoint today. YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU!
