Thanks for the comment on the USCG photo! I actually caught the entire sequence of the copter flying in and lowering the guy and bringing him back up but i had trouble uploading the whole set so that's why that one photo is there. It's pretty awesome to catch a 100 or so photos that work flip book style, esp when you know you need a hoto and not video. Panasonic G1 scores again!
I've been meaning to tell you - My brother and a few of the guys he works with were sent to Lockheed & Martin a few weeks ago to check out the new F35, which is scheduled to replace the F18. If you haven't seen the F35 yet, you should check it out. I think you and Evan would love it! It's a vertical takeoff jet. Very impressive. There's some more info about it on their site:
