Yeah. I saw pics of ones you can buy and decided to build my own. Leisurely strolling through my local hardware store checking out my options, and then an afternoon of tinkering in the garage.
To buy one, they start at $100 and have 24 inches of travel. This is twice the length and I have about $20 into it ;)
I do have to come up with some sort of better leg system as it wants to tip off my tripod!!
The only thing I don't like is that the camera isn't captive on the tracks. I have another design cooking in my head ;)
