Yes I am using the starter lens. You're right... does not perform well in low-light situations at all. It's been hard for me to find a solution to it too. I just tend to take it out during well-lit moments. Do you have a zoom lens? I bought one but I believe I got the wrong one. Pretty bummed! Definitely looking for ways to enhance the experience with it but I'm certainly not a pro at all and can be a bit clueless.
