Fill out the paperwork!!! Seriously, you can't win the equipment if you never enter. The thing of it is that you have absolutely nothing to lose! Don't worry if you don't think you fit a demographic or that your family is unexciting or that there is someone else in your area who won or that you wouldn't know how to use all of the technology (Did I cover all of your excuses?). Panasonic is looking for people to use the equipment and they really do listen to our feedback. They want real people with real families (in all shapes, sizes, and make-ups!).

Being a LiHD family has been amazing for the three months we've been in it. I will be posting to our other blog calandroslihd@blogspot.com soon about all of the things we've done with our equipment so far. We are loving it and are looking forward to connecting with more LiHD families as our community grows.

Whenever me and my husband go away alone I always have to ask strangers to take a photo of us - so embarrassing! When I try to take one myself I always have a double chin which is less that preferable.  I just found this product called the Quick Pod Arm Extending Self Portrait Device on Amazon. I place the camera in the Quickshot, set the timer and presto a self portrait minus the double chin! I thought this was such a cool invention I had to share it.

After a few times of being out with my kids and not having my camera with me when I really wanted it, I decided I needed to come up with a system to make sure I always have it on me.  Since I'm always on-the-go, I always make sure to keep my car keys and camera in the same place every day.  By doing this, it’s one less thing I have to remember and luckily, I haven’t missed a moment yet! And another important tip that I’ve found helpful is to keep extra batteries with your keys as well!
